Getting StartedGetting started with Dekan

Welcome to Dekan 👋

Sign in at https://dekan.my/login, or create an account at https://dekan.my/register. Use the same sign-in method and account each time so your checks and orders stay together.

Your Overview shows your available checks and recent activity. Open Assignment Tools for Turnitin Check, AI Pre-Check, Humanizer and your reports. Packages & Orders is where you buy checks and review payments. Student Lounge has its own purchase history under Lounge Orders.

Choose a tool and review its current requirements before submitting. Prices and included allowances are shown on https://dekan.my/packages. An unavailable service cannot accept new work.

Need a hand? Open Support in your workspace. Tell us what you were trying to do and include an order or submission reference if you have one.

Getting StartedSubmit a document and find your Turnitin report

Open Turnitin Check from Assignment Tools in your workspace. Check that you have an available check, then select a PDF, DOC or DOCX file up to 50 MB. Review the file and any options shown before submitting.

Keep the page open until the upload is accepted. After submission, follow its status in Turnitin Reports. When a report is ready, open the completed entry to review or download the available report files.

Processing time varies with the document and service demand. If a submission appears stuck or fails, keep its reference and contact support before submitting it again.

A similarity or AI score needs context. Review the highlighted passages and your institution's guidance; a score alone does not establish whether work is acceptable.

Getting StartedUse AI Pre-Check with GPTZero or ZeroGPT

AI Pre-Check lets you choose GPTZero or ZeroGPT before running a check. These are different providers, so their scores and highlighted passages can differ.

Open AI Pre-Check in Assignment Tools, choose a provider and add your text or a supported document. The page shows the current file and text limits and your available allowance. Review these before you submit.

When the result is ready, review the overall result alongside individual passages. Use the PDF export option to save the report. A detector's result is an estimate and does not guarantee a particular Turnitin result.

If a PDF has little selectable text, is password-protected or mainly contains scanned images, text extraction may fail. Try an unlocked text-based document, or copy your own text into the input where available.

For a failed check, contact support with the submission reference, chosen provider and error message.

TroubleshootingCan I close the page while a check is running?

Keep the page open while your file or text is being submitted. Closing it before the server accepts the submission can interrupt the upload.

Once AI Pre-Check or Humanizer shows that the request has been accepted and is queued or processing, the server can continue working after you close the page. Sign back in with the same account and open that tool's history to check its status and result.

Turnitin submissions can also be tracked in Turnitin Reports after the upload has been accepted.

If you are unsure whether a submission was received, check your history before submitting again. If it remains stuck, contact support with the submission reference and approximate submission time. Provider availability and processing time can vary.

Getting StartedUsing Humanizer and choosing a provider

Humanizer offers GPTHuman and ZeroGPT. Choose a provider on the page before submitting your text, and review the current limits and allowance shown there.

You need at least one remaining check balance to access Humanizer. If access is unavailable, check your balance in Overview and review the available packages.

After the result is ready, compare it with your original writing. Check that names, facts, citations and your intended meaning are still correct before using or exporting the result. Rewriting does not guarantee an AI-detection score.

Smart Humanizer is a separate service. If it is marked unavailable, new requests cannot be submitted there. Use the available Humanizer options or contact support for help choosing the appropriate tool.

PaymentsPending, failed or missing payments

Open My Orders under Packages & Orders to check the latest payment status.

If an order is pending and has an available payment link, use its Pay button to continue. A payment that the provider confirms has expired or failed is shown as failed and cannot be resumed through an expired checkout.

If your bank shows a debit but the order still says pending, do not pay again straight away. Recheck My Orders, then contact support with the order reference, payment time and amount if it has not updated. You may attach a receipt with unrelated personal and banking details covered.

Never send your banking password, PIN, one-time code or full card details. Support can review the order and provider status without them.

For Student Lounge purchases, open Lounge Orders to check the relevant order and delivery details.

PaymentsRequest help with a refund or missing check credit

If a check failed, a credit is missing or you believe you paid twice, contact support from the account used for the order. Include the order or submission reference and a short explanation of what happened.

Failed or timed-out checks may qualify for credit restoration after review. Duplicate payments can be reviewed for an account credit or refund where appropriate. Completed report delivery, change of mind and user input errors are generally not refundable except where required by law.

Refund eligibility and processing depend on the circumstances and payment provider. We will explain the outcome after reviewing the request; submitting a ticket does not automatically approve a refund.

Read the current refund policy at https://dekan.my/refund-policy.html.

TroubleshootingFind your Student Lounge purchase

Open Student Lounge → Lounge Orders in your workspace. Select the relevant order to view its payment and delivery status and any available items or instructions.

Delivery depends on the product. Your order may include a code, file, invitation or other instructions. Follow the product's own delivery information and keep any redeemable codes private.

If payment is complete but delivery is missing, contact support with the Lounge order reference and product name. Do not post account credentials or unused gift codes in public conversations.

For the delivery policy, visit https://dekan.my/delivery-policy.html.

AccountSign-in and password help

Sign in at https://dekan.my/login using the same method and account you used when registering. Choosing a different Google or Apple account can open a different Dekan account.

For an email-and-password account, select Forgot password on the login page and follow the reset email. Check your spam folder if you do not see it. Open the latest reset link and never share it with anyone.

For Google or Apple sign-in, complete the provider's sign-in window and allow it to return to Dekan. If it stalls, close the unfinished window and try again from a fresh login page. Check whether your browser is blocking the sign-in popup.

If Cloudflare blocks a normal sign-in attempt, send support the Ray ID shown on the block page and the approximate time. Do not send your password, sign-in token or security codes.

Live chat requires a signed-in Dekan account. If you still cannot sign in after trying the recovery steps, email support@dekan.my. Include the email address on your Dekan account and a brief description. The team may need to verify ownership before making account changes.

AccountAccount details, privacy and deletion requests

Account Settings shows your profile and the available password and phone verification options.

For changes you cannot make there, or a request to access, correct or delete personal data, contact support. Use your signed-in account where possible and describe the request clearly. The team may need to verify account ownership before making changes or sharing account information.

Do not include passwords, one-time codes, full payment-card details or identity documents unless the support team explains why a specific document is needed and provides an appropriate way to send it.

Dekan's privacy policy is available at https://dekan.my/privacy-policy.html. It explains how personal data is handled and how to make a privacy request.

Getting StartedUnderstand your balance, allowance and Overview

Overview brings together your check balance, activity and service information. The balance bar helps you see your current available checks. Each tool shows its own access requirements and allowance before you start.

Turnitin check balance and AI Pre-Check allowance serve different purposes. Smart Humanizer shares the AI Pre-Check allowance and only deducts a Turnitin check if you choose to submit the finished document to Turnitin. Humanizer requires at least one remaining check balance to access.

A zero balance may prevent new work, but your existing history, reports and completed downloads remain available. Open Packages to review current prices and included allowances before topping up.

Use the grouped menu to move between tools, Student Lounge, packages, orders, support and account settings. On a small screen, open Menu. Night Mode is available in the workspace menu.

PaymentsBuy a check package and track your order

Open Buy Packages under Packages & Orders. Review the price, number of checks and included allowances shown for each package, then choose the one that fits your needs.

Complete the available checkout flow and return to Dekan. The payment provider's confirmation determines when your order is marked paid and the purchase is applied to your account. If you close checkout, open My Orders to check its status before starting another purchase.

My Orders includes pagination and a page-size selector so you can find older orders. A pending order shows Pay when there is a valid payment link. A confirmed expired or failed payment is shown as failed.

If payment has been taken but your balance has not updated, contact support with the order reference and payment time. Do not make another payment just to resolve a missing balance.

Current package details are at https://dekan.my/packages.

Getting StartedFind history and export reports as PDF

Turnitin Reports contains your submitted document checks. Open a completed entry to review and download the available reports.

AI Pre-Check and the Humanizer tools keep their own history on their respective pages. Select a completed entry to reopen the result. AI Pre-Check and Smart Humanizer include Export PDF; use any document download controls shown for the completed job.

DekanGPT has an Export PDF option in the selected chat. Choose the correct chat before exporting.

Downloads require access to the account that owns the result. If a link asks you to sign in, use the same account and open the result again from its history. A copied link does not grant another account access.

If an export is blank, unavailable or fails to download, check that processing has completed. Then contact support with the tool name, submission reference and browser you are using.

Getting StartedChat, attach files and use tools in DekanGPT

Open DekanGPT from your workspace menu. The first time, you will need to complete phone verification. If the service is marked unavailable, new chats are paused.

Select New chat, type your question and send it. You can return to a previous conversation from the chat list. The page shows how many chats are in use and the current limit. Use Rename to make a chat easier to find, Export PDF to save it, or Delete when you no longer need it. Review any confirmation before deleting.

Attach supported PDF, DOCX, TXT, PNG or JPG files using the paperclip. The current file-size limit appears below the message box. Wait for an attachment to finish uploading before sending your question.

When available, the Search control adds web search to your request. You can also ask for an image using the supported image feature. Availability and limits can change, so follow the controls and messages shown in DekanGPT.

Review AI answers, calculations, citations and generated content before relying on them. If a request fails, contact support with the chat title, approximate time and error message; share only the relevant excerpt.

AccountManage saved DekanGPT memory

Open DekanGPT, then choose Manage memory in the chat sidebar. This page lists saved memories associated with your account, including their last-updated information.

Review each memory and use its Delete control if you no longer want it retained as an active memory. Read the confirmation before continuing. Managing memory is separate from renaming or deleting a chat.

If saved memory is temporarily unavailable, the page explains this and may still list your existing memories. Phone verification is required for DekanGPT and its memory page.

For a broader account or privacy request, contact support from your signed-in account. We may need to verify ownership before taking action.

AccountVerify your phone for DekanGPT

DekanGPT requires one-time phone verification. Your dashboard, orders, reports and purchases remain available without this step.

Open DekanGPT or choose Verify phone in Account Settings. Enter your phone number with its country code, for example +60123456789, and request the SMS code. Enter the six-digit code on Dekan before it expires.

If a code does not arrive, check the number and follow the resend countdown shown on the page. Repeated requests are limited to prevent abuse, so wait until another attempt is available. Use the latest valid code and never share it with support or anyone else.

If verification keeps failing, contact support with your registered email, the approximate time and the error message. Do not include the SMS code.

TroubleshootingSmart Humanizer availability and document workflow

Smart Humanizer is a separate DOCX workflow for checking a document, revising highlighted sections and comparing before-and-after results. It is currently marked temporarily unavailable, so new revisions are paused. Existing history, status information and completed downloads remain accessible.

When the service is available, review the accepted language and maximum file size shown on its page, choose an available rewriting engine and upload a DOCX. Settings differ between GPTHuman and ZeroGPT.

Starting a new Smart Humanizer job requires at least one available check and uses the shared AI Pre-Check allowance. It does not deduct a Turnitin check unless you choose to submit the finished DOCX to Turnitin.

For a completed job, review the changes, download the available document or export the PDF report. Check that facts, citations and formatting are correct before submitting anywhere.

While new jobs are paused, you can use the available Humanizer options for text rewriting. Contact support about an existing job with its submission reference.

TroubleshootingService status, maintenance and slow requests

Service notices on Overview and individual tool pages describe the current availability. An operational message means the system is currently accepting the relevant submissions; it does not guarantee a fixed completion time.

A manual-mode or maintenance notice means the service is not following its usual automatic flow. Read the message shown before submitting and contact support if you need help with an existing request. Do not repeatedly submit the same document to try to speed it up.

Processing can take longer during high demand, provider delays or temporary interruptions. Once an upload has been accepted, check its history for updates.

If a page shows an error, note the error code, time and any reference displayed. For a Cloudflare block, include the Ray ID. Avoid sharing passwords, tokens or full private document contents when a reference and error message are enough.

Getting StartedContact support and follow up on a request

Open Support from the workspace menu or visit https://dekan.my/support. Browse the Help Center for guides, choose Chat with us for a question, or open Your support requests to follow up.

For an issue that needs investigation, include the affected tool, what you expected, what happened and an order, chat or submission reference. A screenshot of the error can help. Cover unrelated personal information before attaching it.

Live chat and support requests in the Messenger are available only after you sign in to Dekan. Use the same account to access your support history. FAQs remain public. If you cannot sign in, email support@dekan.my for help.

Leave a message when the team is away. Replies and status updates appear in your support conversation. When you are offline, conversation replies are also sent to your account email. Shared ticket status updates are sent by email too. You can reply to the email to continue the conversation. Keep follow-up details in the same request where possible so the team has the full context.

Never send passwords, one-time codes, full card details or unused gift codes. Chat needs JavaScript and an internet connection; if it cannot connect, the Help Center and the website's quick answers remain available.
