Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KUMI TAK KACHIP HUB ("DekanAI", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the DekanAI mobile application and Dekan.my services.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information, including your name, email address, phone number, and authentication identifiers.
• Documents, text, prompts, generated content, and other files you choose to submit for AI tools, plagiarism analysis, humanization, or Turnitin checking.
• Order, package, payment status, transaction reference, and Student Lounge fulfillment records. Payment card and banking credentials are handled by our payment providers and are not stored by DekanAI.
• Device and app information, including device type, operating system, app version, push-notification token, diagnostic events, and service activity.
• Support messages, preferences, reactions, and other information you provide directly.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide requested services, process and confirm transactions, deliver reports and digital products, send service and marketing notifications where permitted, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, diagnose errors, and improve DekanAI.

3. Uploaded Documents and AI Processing

Files and text you submit are processed only to provide the feature you request. Depending on the feature, content may be securely transmitted to infrastructure and service providers that perform AI detection, plagiarism analysis, text transformation, document processing, or report generation. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not sell uploaded documents.

4. Authentication and Notifications

When you choose Sign in with Google, Google shares your account identifier, email address, email-verification status, name, and profile picture if available. Google and Firebase Authentication process this information to authenticate you. Dekan.my stores your name, email address, and linked authentication identifiers with your account so that we can create or find your account, sign you in, and keep your orders and reports associated with the correct person.

Google sign-in does not give Dekan.my access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, calendar, contacts, or Google password. We do not request access to those services through Google sign-in. Documents used in our checking tools are files or text you separately choose to submit, as described in section 3.

Google sign-in information is handled by our authentication and hosting providers to operate and secure your account. We do not sell it. We retain the linked account information as described in section 6; you can request its deletion through the contact details in section 11. You can also remove Dekan.my's connection in your Google Account settings. Removing that connection does not by itself delete your Dekan.my account or its existing records.

If you choose Sign in with Apple, we use the account identifier, name when provided, and email address Apple shares for the same account and authentication purposes. If you choose Hide My Email, Apple may provide a private relay address. DekanAI also uses Firebase services for app configuration, diagnostics, and push notifications. Push tokens identify an app installation for notification delivery and can be disabled in your device settings.

5. How We Share Information

We share only the information reasonably necessary with hosting, AI-processing, plagiarism-checking, analytics, authentication, notification, email, payment, and fulfillment providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a lawful business transfer. We do not sell personal data.

We use Intercom to provide our Help Center, support chat and ticket history. When you open support chat while signed in, we share your account identifier, name and email address to identify your support profile securely. Intercom also processes messages and attachments you choose to send, together with technical information needed to operate the chat, such as browser, page and session information. Support cookies keep your conversation available. Signing out clears the website’s support session. Your document contents and payment records are not automatically sent to support chat.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain account, transaction, and service records for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Uploaded and generated files may be deleted automatically after the applicable service-retention period. You may request account or personal-data deletion using the contact details below.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. You can control notification permissions in your device settings and can sign out of the app at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

DekanAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest revision.
